The vanadium flow battery is a redox battery that uses vanadium as an active material to circulate in a liquid state. The electrical energy of the vanadium battery is stored in the sulfuric acid electrolyte of vanadium ions of different valences in the form of chemical energy. The electrolyte is pressed into the battery stack by an external pump. Under the action of mechanical power, it is stored in different storage tanks and half-cell batteries. Circulation flows in a closed-loop. A proton exchange membrane is used as the battery pack separator. The electrolyte solution flows in parallel across the electrode surface and undergoes an electrochemical reaction. The current is collected and conducted through a double electrode plate, so that the chemical energy stored in the solution is converted into electrical energy.
Our company uses its world-leading perfluorinated ion membrane, high activity electrode and new low flow resistance, low self-discharge, high energy efficiency stack to produce vanadium battery stack with low flow resistance, low resistance and high current density (>110mA/cm2). , higher than the peer 30mA/cm2), high power density (>130mW/cm2, higher than the peer 40mW/cm2), high energy efficiency (>83%@130 mW/cm2, 5-10% higher than the peer), module High degree of production, low production cost (about 2600 yuan / kW), long life cycle of charge and discharge (> 20,000 times)
