Hydrogen Ion Selective Permeable Membranes

Hydrogen-Selective-Membrane

Hydrogen Ion Selective Permeable Membrane

The hydrogen ion-selective permeable membrane is independently developed by Tingrun and has high selectivity for hydrogen ions. In addition to the characteristics of ordinary cation membranes, this cation membrane has extremely high selectivity for hydrogen ions and excellent retention effects for other cations such as Na +, Ca 2+, Mg 2+, Fe 3+, Al 3+, Zn 2+, etc., with a retention rate of over 95%. Therefore, this membrane can be used to separate salts and acids. If the precipitation of heavy metal ions is not considered, it can achieve 100% separation of acids and salts.

Scope of usage

To separate the acid and salts

Working Principle:

Due to the unique property of hydrogen ion selectivity, the cation membrane can be stacked with an acid-resistant anion membrane to form an electrodialysis unit. This unit can then be used to separate acid and salt in acidic wastewater through electrodialysis, while also concentrating the acid.
