The Electrodialysis Device is a universal experimental equipment of bipolar membrane electrodialysis (BPED). The device can realize the functions of manual operation and control of the device. The device can be used in electric power, chemical, petrochemical, chemical fiber, food, fermentation, biology, medicine, metallurgy, nuclear energy, aerospace and other industrial fields, and can meet the research needs of small and medium-scale experiments before engineering scale-up.
The Inlet water requirements are as follows
- 1) Suspended matter ≤1mg/L, needs to be filtered through a membrane with an absolute pore size of less than 0.05 microns;
- 2) Iron ≤0.2mg/L;

- 4) Oily and other poorly water-soluble organic matter ≤0.1mg/L;

- 6) Water temperature: 15~40℃, Optimal operating temperature: 25-35℃;
- 7) It does not contain benzene ring-containing aromatic hydrocarbon substances, and does not contain post-flocculation substances, that is, substances that will accumulate flocculation or fouling in the membrane module;
- 8) Total concentration of polyvalent metal ions(including but not limited to calcium magnesium zinc iron, etc.) ≤1mg/L
- 9) Free residual chlorine <0.1mg/L, other oxidizing substances can be converted into free residual chlorine

Application:
1. The electrodialysis device is mainly used in the physical and chemical processes of material concentration, purification and separation. For example, water desalination and desalination, seawater concentration, salt production, refined dairy products, juice deacidification and purification, production of chemical products, etc., electrodialyzers can also be used in food, light industry and other industries to produce pure water, electronics, medicine The pre-treatment of high-purity water produced by other industries. Primary softening and desalination of boiler feed water will desalinate brackish water into drinking water.
2. The electrodialysis device is suitable for water supply treatment in industries such as electronics, medicine, chemical industry, thermal power generation, food, beer, beverage, printing and dyeing and coating.
3. Electrodialysis can also be used for the treatment of wastewater and waste liquid and the recovery of precious metals, such as the recovery of nickel from electroplating waste liquid.
Remarks:
1,In order to ensure the stable operation of the device, avoid working in an environment filled with dust and corrosive gas, away from the heat source, the relative humidity is 5~70%, and the ambient temperature is 5~40°C. The membrane organizer stops running, and the interior generally needs to be filled with the solution. If it is not used for a long time, the membrane assembly may be dehydrated due to evaporation or leakage of water, and water is supplied at least once every two months. Do not place any objects on the upper end of the membrane organizer to prevent short circuit or electric shock. When not working, cover the dust cloth.2,The membrane in the membrane stack should always be kept moist;
3,When the system is shut down for a long time, the membrane module should be immersed in the protective liquid to avoid microbial growth. The standard preservation solution contains 1.5% by weight of sodium bisulfite (food grade);
4,Avoid back pressure on the water side of the product at all times.
